About Imaginary Worlds

“The world of reality has its limits; the world of imagination is boundless.” Jean-Jacques Rousseau (1712-1778)

“Logic will get you from A to B. Imagination will take you everywhere.” Albert Einstein (1879-1955)

I love watching the sun rise or set—especially over the sea or in the mountains. I grew up by the sea, and I have lived near the mountains. But I wish I could have both, so one day I might move to Scotland or Sicily or Svalbard. It is possible to get both.
I try to capture sunrises and sunsets with my camera wherever I go. Even if that means getting up at five, when I would really like to sleep some more.
At sunrise, the world awakens to a new day. A new day of opportunities.
When the sun sets, the sky explodes into unexpected colours. The veil between the real world and imaginary worlds disappears. The possibilities are endless.
